IN EXTRA-VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

A semi-finished product for the fine food, catering and gastronomy sectors, especially suitable for preparing all versions of pesto alla genovese that require basil. Produced exclusively using basilico D.O.P. Ligure grown by us in Albenga. The product is created by chopping the basil finely and adding olive oil, salt and vitamin C. To ensure that the product retains all its characteristic delicate flavour and refinement, only the most tender tips of the plant are used. They have a distinctive fragrance and light green colour.
The quality standard of this product is as high as that of the fresh version, as it is not stabilised using heat treatment but through natural means like pH adjustment and water.
All the articles in the assortment use EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL of EUROPEAN origin sourced from Andalusia and Greece. The different shades of flavour create a typically balanced Mediterranean appeal that reflects the high quality of the ingredients. The taste is skilfully judged to enhance the flavour of the basil.
